Topic tags/keywords: handtool education workshop class experienced teacher humorous fun

Hi All

This is about upcoming classes taught by Ron Herman, who has a school, and business that is deeply immersed in hand tool usage, education, and knowledge.

I have know Ron, and several of his fellow teachers for a number of years through functions at Popular Woodworking magazine, and their annual woodworking event, Woodworking in America. He has been touring with “thee Woodworking Shows” as well. I’ve found him to be one of the most knowledgeable instructors about hand tools, Carpentry, and Woodworking in general. He is a vast user, collector, and has owner knowledge of most of the hand tools from a time before electricity was in a shop.

I would be surprised if anyone reported back they didn’t learn anything in one of Ron’s classes, or if they didn’t just have a plain old good time. Usually my face hurts for several days from all the laughing every time I’ve been around him.

Ok, enough about the typing. I know it to be a very good opportunity to learn hand tools history, usage, and application of how to apply both to your woodworking. I don’t get a cent for doing this, just saw his 2018 schedule and thought I would pass it along, so here it is.

2018 seminars, and workshops.

If you have comments, drop them here. Thanks.
