IMHO, every gardener should have some basic wood working skills and tools. There is and endless list of wood working projects in the garden if you just have a small space to work in and some very basic tools. Often times you can just use scrap wood for your creations. It’s NOT fine woodworking!

For years I’ve struggled with a way to organize garden tools. After trying different store bought solutions, stacking them in corners or hanging them from nails, the answer was incredibly simple and they were made with scrap 2×4s and screws and that was it.

I made a video ( I haven’t made one in a while ). It’s short and hopefully, if you have the same problem it will be of use to you. Better yet – improve on it!

A good idea, cannot tell from picture but did you angle the 2×4’s slightly toward the wall. I set mine at 7 degrees and found they are harder to knock off accidentally. Because I probably would be the one to get wacked in the head if I didn’t. Also made hang on the wall boxes for garden sprayers.

Looks good. Mine are not angled. Doesn’t seem like it matters but what the heck.

My wife keeps her cats in that building in the winter. With old setup they seemed to manage to always knock something down. Came up with this and now when she goes to release them everything is still in place, well mostly. They are like children, always finding news ways to create havoc and mayhem.
