I would say yes. Hawk/RBI has a good reputation
for quality.

Hawk has went through a couple of ownership changes, but you can still get (some) parts for them and the manual for that one is on line. If I picked the right one it has 3 speeds (good thing) thought they require belt changes. They are generally considered among the best scroll saws made. I have a VS220 I bought a couple of years ago and am quite happy with it, though I’m not a heavy duty scroller.

They are nice but this one looks pretty rough.

I have three scroll saws and use them most every day. Two Hegners and Jet and two of them were made before 1988 and all run fine. I would buy this hawk in a minute. Very good saw!

I purchased an RBI scroll saw about15 or more years ago and still runs as it
did coming out of the factory!
