Topic tags/keywords: question

I’m going to be moving to Nairobi for a 2 year posting in 2 months. Are there any Woodworkers on here that are in Nairobi?

I’d love to get information on where to get wood, tools and other general intel.

don’t know about the wood. you will have to explore that when you get there.
I think that even old pallet wood would be exciting to work with.
as for tools, I would opt for the hand made tools made out of old truck springs.
not only are they filled with the Spirit of the Maker, you will be supporting the
local economy. Sounds like a fun and rewarding experience. hope you stay in touch
with your adventures.

Can’t help you with info on woodworking in Nairobi, but if you run into the Prince, tell him I’m still waiting for the millions he promised in those emails.

Get in line, brother. I’ve got diamonds that were promised to me coming my way any day now!

It was a joke. I used a little poetic license. Good job being a pedant though. God knows we need more of them.

LOL Reminds me of George Bush saying that “Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease.” It’s just all one big country. :-)
