this from our dear friend and buddy
cher in south africa

she recently bought a band saw
and i and a few other LJ’s were helping her
set it up correctly

this message speaks for itself

perhaps any comments could be posted here
as she is not able to answer any PM’s at this time
i shall forward the link to this to her

when she is up to it she may answer as she sees fit

all prayers and condolences will be appreciated

thank you in her behalf

Hello David

I have very sad news
Henry ( edit – her husband) passed away yesterday morning from a heart attack
I was still at Duncan’s house having spent two days in bed with bronchitis
Duncan Tracy Quentin and Megan are here making arrangements
God has Blessed me with the wonderful children I have, they have done everything for me

David, I kept hoping that the hospital had phoned the wrong number
my heart is so very sore right now
I have had so many calls and text messages

I am so glad that Henry’s brother whom he hasn’t seen in more than 10 years was able to make an appearance

If you can please pass the message on to my Lj buddies I don’t have the strength at the moment
I would have done an announcement on the forum but it looks like EVERYTHING on Lj’s is just about wood working
so I just left it, please ask them to forgive me my absence at this moment

Tomorrow I have to attend to the bank and the lawyer myself, the children will be going with as I am just not able to cope with this tragedy at this moment

Thanks David

My deepest condolences on your loss Cher and to your family. It is very difficult to lose someone so close….and so very quickly. Cherish his memory and consider the best qualities of his life….it is the finest memorial that anyone could ask for. May he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences for your terrible loss.

May your grief be slight, and short-lived, and your memories of your husband permanent and wonderful.

I’m so sorry, Cher.

Thanks, David, for letting us know. Sadly … when LJs aren’t around much, for a long period of time … it rarely seems to mean good news :-(

Cher, I don’t think we have met, but I really feel your loss and very sorry for YOUR loss…

I know it’s not easy… just thank God for what time you had with him, the children, and all of the other blessings you have received…. and keep your chin up…

Take care…
