I’m going to look at this drill press after work. $200. I was wondering if someone could identify it so I can look up the specs real quick.

Not sure, but it kind of looks like their previous JDP-20 to me. It has their metal working table, so should be a robust unit and if everything works, it’s a steal for $200.

And you would be right… They just got back to me saying it was a JDP-20MF… Guess i’ll be loading it in to my truck on the way home today..

After that wonderful WalMart commercial, I will say check out an auto parts store for belts.

Link belts from Rockler should work I would suspect. They are great to keep vibrations down. I haven’t used them on my drill press, but I wouldn’t see any issue with using them.

I have a JDP 17MF (did a write up on fixing the quill stop design defect ).

I remember that shortly after I bought it, they came out with the square table (which is much more useful).

$200 is a good price!
