I needed a stand for my new drill press and looked around for something that works
Well I was a value village with the wife and took a look in the furniture section and found just what I was looking for
A small cabinet with 3 drawers and nice and sturdy built well and just the right height and most off all PRICE $14.99
The drawer slides are supper nice and heavy duty
Now I have a place to store stuff too
Win win
Scott
Ps
I’ll shoot a pic as soon as I get help lifting the drill in place

Congrats if it works out, that is a screaming price. Much of the actual cabinetry in my shop is old cabinets I have gotten from different Habitat for Humanity Restores. I always limit myself to a $10.00 top price, and always leave several possible candidates sitting there. The key to them is just look at the onsie, or twosie offerings. If it’s an entire set of matched cabinets, you have to pay for that, so I have a lot of oddballs. Paint came make them all Brothers and Sisters though, if you like uniformity.

My belief is it’s just shop furniture, never will it go into my home.

It is likely to get very dirty, or worse.

I can generally buy something there MUCH cheaper than what it would cost for wood, fasteners, etc, not to mention stolen shop time just to make something that just sits there, even if it does hold something up.

Happy for your win win.
