Topic tags/keywords: bandsaw saw resaw square wood

I have a laguna 1412 fence which came with the bandsaw. The bottom part of the fence is square so i get the right cuts.

However the top part of the fence is not square and angled slightly away from the blade. When i resaw wood, the bottom is the width I need but it slowly flares out so the bottom of my board will be 1” and the top 1.1” how fo i square the top part?

Could it be my technique? I press my paddle against the middle of the board to get max sueface to aurface contact with the fence. Should I be pushing heavily from the bottom?

Ill post up pics tomorrow

I had the same issue, Mine was not in regards to the table. If the problem persists, I corrected my issue with a few strips of blue tape as a shim and that brought everything right into square! Hope your resawing goes well!
