The Kobalt table saw I bought a few years ago still serves it’s purpose and I’m not looking to buy a new saw yet. What I was wondering, however is if there are any aftermarket accessories that fit the Kobalt, such as a more reliable Rip Fence. The one on my saw has had bad reviews from the beginning. I knew this going in but needed the tool and it fit the budget (99 bucks black Friday). The fence may or may not stay in place during cuts. Newer models seem to fit better and it may be that I should just order a newer model. I was just wondering if any aftermarket ones would work better.

Thanks,
Max

Sell it and upgrade your saw, you have out grown it. Why spend more money on a $99 saw? Most good fences cost more than that.

Doubtful. Decent aftermarket fences are typically for full size saws and start close to $200. That’s one of the downsides of getting these cheaper small saws.

For that saw you would do better to make a fence or maybe modify the stock one to address the issues.
