Any one know the shelve life of salad bowel finish. I have two cans one has been open and seal back up the other has never been open. I bought both cans new and use the one can about 20 years ago. Have a project that i want to use on but not sure. I’m not worry about buying a new can I just don’t to waste it if there still good any help would be nice. Thank you Woodman.

It is probably still good and probably still safe. Now if there is a chance it is not good or is not safe do you run the risk by putting it on your project? That is the question you have to ask yourself. Look at the ingredients and see about the shelf life on those if you want to continue. That should give you some idea about what you are dealing with. I am not one to throw things out because they are a year old or even 5 or 10 years old but it depends on where I am going to use them.

Have your say...
