What is a fair price for this? $200.00?

I have one of these. I think $200 seems like a reasonable price if its in good shape and not very old—not dented damaged—includes the remote—$400 is about the cost for a new one. I assume the inner cloth filter is still there and that it is in good shape.

These are good for catching very fine dust that is floating around in the air. I must admit I do not turn it on that often—but when I do I can tell that it works well.

The filters for this aren’t cheap if you buy the Jet brand. I’ve never replaced the inner filter—I vacuum it from time to time. The outer filter will get clogged and I usually just vacuum that as well until it gets beat up and then I replace it. I ordered several from a website called filters-now.com—I think the size is 12×24x1 and the price is around $6 per filter (depending on how fine the filtration).

Thanks for the reply. Seller has two to sell. He said they might need new filters.

I have a similar thing. Worth $200 I’d say considering
the labor of making one. Mine has a fabric “bag house”
filter inside and also furnace filter type things.

I don’t use it very often but it does work alright.
Sometimes if the shop gets real dusty I put on a
mask, turn it and the dust collector on and spray
all over with compressed air. Then I get out of
there and leave the blowers running.

You must be in the Tallahassee area? I lowballed him not long ago, can get. I checked and could get a brand new one for $360 out the door and he wouldn’t go any lower, I don’t want used filters so by the time I replace those I’d rather spend a little bit more and get a new unit.
Let me know if you are nearby, I’ve got a tablesaw and probably soon a dewalt planer and a dust collector to find new homes for

I offered him $150 lol, he said nah it’ll sell eventually.

Maybe he’d do $300 for both and we’ll split it

Have your say...
