Hello all,

I have a Craftsman 10” Tablesaw #22114 that I bought a few years back. It has been a wonderful machine and has done pretty much everything I have asked of it.

The splitter/bladeguard/anti kickback all in one was working nicely for me until i dropped something on it and the piece that attaches to the saw has broken beyond repair. While I would love to just go online and order a new one, sadly I do not believe this part is available anymore.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an aftermarket splitter? Would such a thing work very well?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Kevin – can you post a photo of your broken part and the mounting bolts ?
I remember seeing a post somewhere that a member either made one himself
or modified an existing one to fit safely on his machine.
there must be a thousand posts on this forum about the safety issues of ”that part ”.

@John Smith – I will definitely post a picture when I get home from work today. If it really is something I could fix that would be great.

@ Steve – Thank you for the link. I hadn’t come across that and It definitely looks like it could work for me. It’s a little on the high side price wise but if it’s what I have to do then so be it.

thank you

Just an update. I found one on ebay and am currently waiting for it to arrive.

I did however go look at the MJ Splitter at a local hardware store and while they were priced well, the associate at the store didn’t recommend them.

I forgot to take a picture of the one I had broken but I did inspect it over again and really don’t think there was much could be done. At least not with my abilities. The metal was all kinds of bent and the hole for one of the screws had been ripped through.

thank again for the feedback.
