I recently acquired a this Delta 36-750 hybrid saw and it was missing a few parts. One missing part was the motor tension spring. I received the spring today and am not sure how it should be installed. The parts diagram is not useful as the picture below is as close as I can figure from the diagram.

I assume the spring is to put tension on the motor to help reduce start up bounce. As you can see the top of the spring just points in the air touching the trunion/rail. I either have not figured out the correct position or I was sent the wrong part.

If you have this saw and could look how yours is install I would appreciate a pic. You can probably see it from the top through the blade insert.
