Topic tags/keywords: question

Hello,
I snapped the handle off my very expensive Veritas® Quick-Release Front Vise. I didn’t think it would be a big deal to purchase a new jack screw, but my internet searches are a bust. Does anyone know where I can get it repair parts?
Thanks
Tom

No, I could have “handled” a handle. Its the end of the jack screw where it attaches to the “T” that holds the handle. I need a new jack screw.

wow – that’s a tough break to handle for sure.
I had one similar to yours several years ago that I think I paid about $150 for.
I can not imagine the jack screw itself breaking.
I hope you get a free replacement out of it.

Unless the unit was misused somehow, I would be surprised that Veritas doesn’t replace it for free. Please advise us accordingly!

Lee Valley is terrific with parts support. There’s
a whole secret catalog of parts for the stuff they
sell. They understand stuff wears out and breaks.

Just send an email. They may just replace it or
they may give you a part no. and price.

Have your say...
