Interested to see if anyone might know of a bandsaw mill within the DC Metro area? I have some logs I wouldn’t mind taking somewhere to get cut up.

call a couple of arborists (tree cutting business) and see if they can recommend one.
and if you are going to be getting quality logs on a regular basis, this might be a good time
to build your own mill and save on the middle man.
lots of good plans on the net on how to make a home made mill.

Man, I wish I had the space for a bandsaw mill of my own. But I doubt the HOA would approve of one. lol

Plus, I’m not sure how regularly I’m going to find logs that I could mill. I just have a bunch of cedar logs that I thought might be nice to try and get cut up right now.
