Looks like a piece of extruded T-track and the insert plate for a router table, but it is hard to tell because it is partially obscured by the chunk of firewood in the second picture.

The firewood kind of reminds me of the oak I have stacked out in the garage. More from the first picture than the one showing the bark.

Firewood of course. But oak doesn’t have those circles on the bark.
