Hi. Anybody out there have any experince with BORA router dado jig. If you follow the instructions ,your dado is half the bit off. I called Bora and the said basicaly to play until you get right.

I don’t have one, but I took a look at it

Those ‘indentation marks’ appear to be centered on the router opening and you would have to adjust for the width of the bit that you are using

I usually index cuts like that off the edge of
the cutter. I got into a spirited discussion on
a Festool group about the usefulness of indexing
cuts off the centerline of the bit.

Either edge or centerline works, but if you think
about it you’ll see why manufacturers prefer
designs that index off the center.
