I purchased a Clearview dust collector a couple years ago. I have plumbed the shop with 6” PVC and have all the runs done with homemade blast gates where needed. My problem is finding 6” flex hose to attach machines to the pipe. Everyone loves the 4”. Anyone have any sources for this flex pipe?

Clearvue sells 6” flex. As does but Clearvue is cheaper.

Wynn Environmental – they sell the hose and some really decent filters

They sell PVC hose in 25mil thickness (like Clearvue but cheaper $70 vs $46) and they also carry it in Urethane (20 or 30 mils) which is heavier duty.

I bought some 5” and some 4” Urethane from them in the 20 mil thickness and have been very pleased with it. Keep in mind shipping costs. For me, the 10’ lengths were collapsed down and shipped in a long rectangular box. When you get into the even heavier stuff, the hose needs to be coiled up in a larger box.

Thanks guys for the sources. I found the cheapest was at Wynn so I ordered 25 ft. Always get great help from my fellow woodworkers at LJ. Thanks again!!!

I get emails from these guys, Air Handling Systems
and a couple other commercial outlets. I haven’t purchased anything, yet, but the selection is really good.
