I have several pieces of 6×6” center cut red wood that were part of 20’ beams from 6” to 12” long and several 2”x6” red wood pieces about the same length.
I do not turn myself by I’m trying to find out their worth if turned into turning blanks for pens or bowls.

I only see information about burl pieces and I don’t want to just throw it away or burn it.

Thank you for your time.

You might try checking with a local or nearby turning club. They are always looking for bulk deals on turning blanks and they might even take them as is. They typically want RW burls but in the right hands, it can be turned into some nice bowls. Of course, if there are many cracks, they probably won’t be interested.
