I went from a power tool shop to a hand tool shop. The only power I have left is a bandsaw hooked up to the DC. I have a Jet ceiling mounted air filter. With no tablesaw or miter saw do I still need the air cleaner or can I sell it?

Are you still planning on doing any sanding? In my experience, I have yet to be able to replace my sander with hand planes for every project. You could perform a test, first thoroughly clean the surfaces of tools and work surfaces. Work for a day to two with the air cleaner off, on the third day check all surfaces to see if you have a film of dust on them. This should show you how much fine dust is or is not present. Decide based on what you find.

I don’t sand I use hand planes and scrapers. My concern was more about using the bandsaw without an air filter?

I think sooner or later, you’ll do something that generates sawdust. Even the oldest shops, back before electricity in very early USA and Europe used things like pumice to sand. And if you can scrape a claw leg, or an ogee edge to perfection, you’re better than me. I’d keep it for now, although any dust you do generate, a lot of it will not rise up to the filters. It will stay around bench level.
