Topic tags/keywords: craftman table saw fence upgrade

Hi everyone. I’m new here and seeking some advice. I have an older Craftsman 113 series TS. It is the original fence and I am wanting to upgrade. I have an opportunity to pick up a Grizzly fence for $150. The Grizzly fence comes with a Wixey digital readout.
My other option would be a new Delta T3 fence for around $200. I’d like to see if anyone here has experience with the Grizzly fence or would strongly recommend one option over the other one.

I saw some sour comments about the quality
of the new Delta fences. I’m not saying the
Grizzly is better or worse.

I read quite a few of the reviews about the Delta fence. They were mixed but the majority were really positive. The one thing I can’t find though is reviews about the Grizzly fence. I didn’t find any info on the Grizzly website either.

I’m assuming that your TS is 27” front to back? I can’t remember offhand.

I’d go for the grizzly since it has the digital readout.

That looks like the same fence that comes with the G0690 table saw. It’s a good industrial grade steel t-square fence. Thicker tubing and more robust than the T2. Looks like a decent deal for $150 with the Wixey.

I have the Wixey…works good, but I never use it. I’d sell the Wixey to recoup some of the cost of the fence.
