Hi, I have a wen 10 inch band saw its has vacuum ports, naturally my craftsman shop vac won’t just plug in. what I have works but is a pain to work with. Does any body know how the after market accessories are measured. The closest I can find is 2.5 tp 1.25. ut nobody explains the measurements, are the out side or inside. I know what I ned but not how to explain it thanks

I use this Ridgid hose kit:
It’s great quality and the adapters are not hard plastic so they fit the standard vac sizes as well as the close millimeter sizes.

I have a rubber reducer to 1.25 and clamped in a PVC coupling and sanded until the male end on my hose fit, problem is there is noway to tightend the hose clap on the BS nipple so it pulls out when I want to use the vacuum else where might just glue it in. I don’t want to buy a new hose
