Topic tags/keywords: question lathe

There is a little set-screw that holds the Nova chuck to its threaded insert adapter. Mine has backed out and gone into the black hole. Does anyone have an idea of its size and thread count? I sure would appreciate hearing form someone so I can get a replacement. Thanks in advance.

I pulled mine out and measured it for you. It’s metric, and I got 5.52mm across the diameter, flight to flight. The thread pitch is pretty fine, but I don’t have a thread gauge.
Definitely not 1/4-20.

Rikkor, I don’t know if you have solved the problem yet but you could go to the manufacturers website & ask them.
