I’m planning to build new garage storage cabinets.

Making them outnof 3/4” veneer plywood.

Looking for a source for 8ft aluminum extrusion door pulls and shelf stiffness, for a decent price. Best price I’ve found is $37 plus shipping for 8ft.

Also aluminum shelf stiffness, example:

Anyone know of a good source?

I’ve used this company before. You will have to check with them to get pricing though.

do the door pulls have to be aluminum? or could you make them out of wood?

Not sure where in the world you are, or what you may have access to.
Hafele is fairly global and has always given me good prices.

I used a KV drawer pull which I found in 96” length, not cheap.
There are similar profiles from other manufacturers.
I used the extrusions ass 24” drawer pulls and they work beautifully.

I found a decent price from Orange Aluminum.

About $20 for 8ft of the door pull:

About $16 for 8ft of the shelf stiffeners:

Gonna go with them unless I find something cheaper. Just like the look of these pulls in the garage.

+1 for the KV drawer pull. I bought the 96” length but it was more than you paid—I think I paid about 60$. You can get it here >

Those are really good looking drawer pulls!
I bought two 96” pieces about two years ago, I know they were not cheap.
I used them on my son’s machine shop roll away as these pulls keep greasy fingers off of the drawer face!
They do look really classy on a red oak drawer face, or 7 drawer faces.
