What table saw would you get? I really had my eyes on the grizzly g0833p and then started considering the g1023RL. What other options would you all considering. I know people will say saw stop and I wish that were an option…but to be honest, getting this far with my wife is lucky, and I am not going to push the envelope any farther.

There have been quite a few threads about the Grizzly saws. I hope you have read them as I think they contain a lot of info.

Depending on your location, $1,400 could snag you a pre-owned Unisaw. Why not check CL for local listings?

I have actually been searching craigslist for a while with no luck. I really think I want to go with new as well. I just built a 28X32 shop and I know I am being silly, but want to stick to new this go around.

$1400 buys a lot. Just a thought, is there anything else you need in the shop? If it were me & I had that budget, I think I’d be tempted to fill a couple holes..

The grizzly 1023 and 690 saws are well liked. They require 220v power though. So keep that in mind as it will be an extra expense if you don’t already have it installed.

Jet and Laguna also have some offerings in that price range.

I have and love the Grizzly 0690. You may need to come up with just a tad more $$$ but I assure you it will be worth it!

1400 you could go to the guy wanting to sell his sawstop for 1600 in another thread and see if he will make you a deal.

Yes ! Go with the 1023 !
I felt I grew up from the Grizzly hybrid after a year of owning it. Don’t pay twice.
As for the used saw from craigslist it’s a lottery. You might get a good deal, or you might spend months driving to some shady areas of town and dealing far not with amazon customer service

I came across this Jet saw on Ebay

- Alan72

I know this may sound crazy but that’s not a huge step up from what I have now. I was either looking at the hybrid or full size cabinet with leaning towards a cabinet. grizzly may be the only one in my budget
