Hey guys I need a little advice from someone with a little more experience than I have. I came across some cherry wood left to me . It’s roughly 14 yrs old it’s been kept in a storage area out of the weather . Each role has need separated not just stacked on top eac he other there’s no cracks in any of it ,and no in nsect damage.roughly 7000 bf. Ranging from 4×10 2×10 and1×10 all 10 ft long .I don’t know how to go a bout selling it or who to even ask I’ve tried a couple furniture and cabinet shop all stating they no longer buy from public I’m located in the middle TN area if some one would be kind enough to point me in the right direction . I would appreciate it . Also what price is a fair price I don’t want to ask to much but not to low it’s all rough cut dried no cracks xlooks good no bug damage . Any help would be appreciated thanks guys

I’m in middle Tennessee also and I bought 400 to 500 bf of fresh sawed cherry about 6 years ago for $400. Actually bought the logs and specified how I wanted it sawed. I dried it myself and used it to build kitchen cabinets 3 years ago. Still have half of it left. I would hope to get at least $3.50 per board ft for mine. It’s all nice, full heart wood. Don’t know if this helps, but thought I’d put it out there.
