Topic tags/keywords: resource tip trick

I am posting to share two web sites where you can read and download free books pertaining to many different crafts, including woodworking and metal crafts.

Most of these books were published in the early 20 th century, with some from the 1800’s. I’ve found them interesting reading, and I downloaded a nice and well illustrated book on Furniture Mouldings.

The great majority of them are illustrated, many with dimensioned drawings, or at least the “furniture” and the “woodworking” books that I reviewed are.

This link goes to Woodworking books, but if you look around you’ll see many other topics you might like:

This link takes you to a chart of selections for book types, including wood carving, wood furniture, as well as topics like shipbuilding, machine tools, engineering drawing, and carpentry:

If you have the time to peruse, have fun.

Oh man – way too much information, I started clicking links and darn near got lost. Some great ideas but I don’t like to use a plan or print, it’s way too much fun to not know what you’re doing and then be surprised if something good comes from the hours spent in the shop.

That doesn’t mean I won’t be lookin for ideas – - ‹(•¿•)›
