I have an old Unisaw I am looking to buy a mobile base. Any suggestions are welcome. I like the looks of the HTC and the Delta bases. Problem is I am not sure what fits. thanks, -- JB |

Check out Grizzlys Shop Fox mobile bases. I have thre and love them. You can adjust them to fit anything. |

Funny you should ask, I just installed an HTC3000 on my Unisaw. Please take a look at my blog entry http://lumberjocks.com/ic3ss/blog/22661 It will fit many sizes of saw bases, indexing every inch. I forget what the large and small limits are, but it’s a pretty good base. Think I like most about it over the other bases is that it has four wheels instead of three, making for a bit more stability. Good luck, John. -Wayne -- "I am endeavoring, ma'am, to construct a mnemonic memory circuit using stone knives and bear skins." |

I second the shopfox base. Specifically the heavy duty shop fox base. I use it for my unisaw and have absolutely no complaints. Plus it is considerably cheaper then the competition at 70 dollars or less (pending sales). |
