Hello woodworkers,

I would very appreciate if you could tell me if 105mm cutting height of bandsaw is enough to make most of bandsawboxes I see here on LJ’s? Or, you recomend to buy at least 6’’ bandsaw max. cutting height?
Thanks for tips.

I have a 6” and I really wish I had the 6” extension for bandsaw boxes. (It seems I always find blanks that are 8” that want to use.) The big limitation is when cutting the bottom and lid off because you have to turn the box on edge. I guess you could cut them off with a hand saw and still make some good size boxes with the 105mm saw.

Making bandsaw boxes are a LOT of fun. Enjoy!
