I am tearing down and rehabbing (to a degree) my Capspray gun that came with my Capspray CS9100 (most folks say it should be a Titan Maxum II, but I have my doubts). I am curious. What makes one HVLP gun better than another? The purple Harbor Freight gun is around $100 while the high end ones are $350+. What makes a high end gun a high end? They all have needles, they all spray out in a fan, they have all inside air flow cavities & channels.

HF purple gun is much less than $100.
Higher end guns are machined to high tolerance from better materials. The design is more thourough. The spray pattern is more uniform and tunable. And as always if you pay twice more you will not get twice better product.
