Topic tags/keywords: tablesaw jobsite saw question

I’m considering replacing my Dewalt 10 Woodworker’s Table Saw with 30 Rails – DW746X with either the Bosch REXX or SawStop JSS-MCA and looking for suggestions. I’m leaning toward the REXX mainly because if the safety is triggered all you do is replace the cartridge or reverse it. In the SawStop it is necessary to replace the cartridge, the break and possibly the blade.

Well, if you are in the US, you cannot legally purchase the ReaXX Saw:

I have owned my Sawstop for ~2 years now, I have done one accidental trip (I touched the blade during coast down with a combo square). It is annoying and you get the “I am stupid” fine in the form of having to replace the cartridge and blade, but life moves on.

Thanks for the great link, I had thought that the battle was over and Bosch had to pay SawStop. The last update in the link is 3/23/2017, hopefully, it will be settled.

You can still buy them (for exmple, Amazon has them until they run out), Bosch will continue to service them, and the cartridges will continue to be sold as they are not included in the lawsuit.

Because I’m moving I’m in a limbo state but in another forum, the following links were posted.

As in the link originally posted in this thread, the battle is still on with no end in sight.
