Jet DC 1100 VX wood chip and dust collector

$375.00, best offer, trade (full or partial)

1) 1-1/2 horse power motor

2) Can be wired for 120 or 240 volts.

3) Power switch re-located to remote cabled switch box – 7’ cord, box with over sixty pound pull rare earth magnet so the switch can be attached to any nearby metal or iron item and used without bending over or walking around a machine.

4) Includes an auto-start switch, which will turn the collector on when a machine is started and run the collector for a few seconds after shut down of the machine to clear the collector lines.

5) Unit offers either two 4” ports or one 6” port.

6) Company rated at 1,100 cubic feet per minute air draw.

7) Canister air filter for greatly increased air flow, compared to bag systems (more filter surface area).

8) Canister filter has integral paddle system to agitate pleats, removing dust buildup and increasing air flow. NOTE: I found it best to shake the unit after using the paddles, which dislodges all the dust that falls on the vortex plate and which, otherwise, would be drawn back up into the filter on the next start up.

9) Vortex plate particle separator system to separate dust from the air flow.

10) Comes with a few clear, reusable lower bags. You can also use cheap big box store clear bags, but should plan on tossing them with the sawdust and chips, rather than reusing them.

11) Unit uses the press in ring to hold collection bags in place and for quick bag changes. Merely put the bag through the ring, a few inches down from the top, then press it up into the indentation on the inside of the collector. I prefer the excess bag go outside the ring to limit the chance of dust collecting on the excess.

12) Compatible with Oneida Super Dust Deputy [SDD] (not included) and Thein baffles. I used this in combination with the SDD and was pleased with the performance.

13) Unit is portable (casters).

In addition to using this for efficient router table dust and chip collection, this unit worked well with my planer, jointer, table and saw.

I am looking for:

drum sander
machinist items (small lathe, mill)
hunting item(s), . . . .

This unit is located in Eastern Washington (Mattaw), about an hour from: Tri-Cities, Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Ephrata, Yakima, Ellensburg and Prosser.
