Rich, I saw a thumbs down review on Google via LJs by you.

Edit… After reading Rich’s post I guess the question is will it work well with solid wood less than 3/4” or is it only for plywood?

As it turned out, Andy, I learned a lot from others on that thread. My initial doubts about it were cleared up by some excellent points made by several LJs in that thread. It’s still expensive, but if you do production work, it sounds like a good tool. I also think the comment that it would do better as an overhead cutter, like on a radial arms saw, is a good one.

I chalked that one up to me being educated by the group — not the only time that’s happened either.

I can’t answer your question about thinner solid wood though. I’m sure someone will pitch in.
