Topic tags/keywords: dovetail waste tip trick

I wanted to share a tip that works for me. When cutting out dovetail waste, I want to stay off the baseline and avoid a mishap. I keep the show side to me and put a mirror on the backside. This helps reassure me that I’m not cutting into the good material.
I’m also a fan of the blue tape for marking purposes.

I too like using a mirror. Watching all three lines makes for very clean dovetails!
