The last few times I’ve been here, the “Top 15” has been the top 11 or 12. I guess not that many projects are being uploaded? Any thoughts?

I had the same thought, but it is summer. Not really stay in the shop all weekend weather

It’s been a little slow. It’ll speed up in the fall.

I’ve noticed that it’s trending toward a social network. I myself haven’t posted a project in a couple of years.

Honestly, I haven’t posted a project here since a few people felt entitled to plans for something that I designed and posted and gave me a hard time about it.

For me.. it’s been a crazy summer. Washer & dryer parts fail that need replacing, jacked up my elbow, personal relationships come & go, heavy summer work load. I still have to finish my plantation shutter project. And then I have to do sewing machine bases after that.

It’s been a little slow for projects lately, but tomorrow’s the reveal on the beer swap so there will be a burst of projects then. And this coming Friday is the sign-up deadline for the knife swap and we’re having a lot of fun making practice knives before we start on the real projects there.

I don’t know about everyone else, but with those going, plus me getting started on hand-resawing panels to start building tool tills and a tool cabinet his winter, I’m making a lot of progress in the shop, but not finishing anything at the moment. And it’s summer, so spending time in a 90 degree shop with the dew point in the 70s just isn’t appealing some days. But the weather’s cooling off and things will pick up.

It seems to me that even the posts in the forums are lower than they have been in previous years. I think we used to have 4-5 pages of posts from one day to the next and this year it is more like 3 pages. Today didn’t even make it to 3 pages. Maybe people are finding what they want from other social media venues?
