Never seen one myself. Ill point you to LJ Summerfi’s blog pisting on saw medallions though. Bob might be able to shed some insight on the medallion for ya. Do you have the handle that they came off of?

Edit – scratch my dumb question about handle. I’s not good reader.

Interesting srticle refers to a curtis 1866 stamp on the backside of some trim. Theres a trade article in the posting from curtis … http://www.thisiscarpentry.com/2010/04/30/curtis-mitertite-joint/

Bruh, I know this is a fairly old topic but I recently acquired a hand saw that also had the stamp “CurtiS 1866” however my medalion only has it stamped on one side with the other side blank. Also the stamped side looks like it is 2 different kinds of metal haveing 1 type about half the diameter of the overall medalion in the center and the other type that circles around enclosing it. I’m not an expert on hand saws but my guess is that it is the original saw that they came on. It is about 1”3/16 overall diameter. It is the same company as the one in the link that chrisstef posted but I havent seen anything a out them manufacturing says. Were you successful at finding out any additional information about the medallions. I will post a picture in a couple of days. Thank you
