Hi Gang
I happen to look at my day count next to my name and thought I’d check how long I’ve been on Ljs and to my shock and surprise, Monday will be my 9th anniversary here on Ljs I can’t believe it’s been that long! I just want to thank everyone for sharing their techniques, projects, and comments all these years, I’ve learned so very much from all of the great woodworkers here. I’m grateful for the many friends I’ve gained through this great Website even though I’ve only met a couple of you in person, some of the friends that were the smartest and most skilled also others just great fun are unfortunately no longer with us. I will always think of them every time I come to Ljs, but fortunately, there are lots you great talented friends still here

Thanks all

Thanks Jim for your comments. I am also one of the early birds and have learned a lot in wood working all these years. Your contribution to LJ is great. I am sure you will continue to share your knowledge in the future for all of us. I am now 82 but keeping good health and do meddle with wood working as per my capacity. Wishing you sound health and long life.

It’s a long and winding road. Just checked and I’m 8 days from 7 years. Congratulations!

Thanks sharad as the day count shows you were here before me and there are a good number of others that were here since the very beginning, thanks for your contribution to LJs.I’m sure your “meddling with wood” still produces great results.

Thanks Monte
I try to maintain my cool even when I get heat from some a couple of the folks but I don’t think I’m any more of a decent guy than you. I’ve always enjoyed your work and great design sense and I know many others have too , making you an outstanding role model.

Congratulations Jim, now I have to look at my time. :)

You are a great asset to LJ’s Jim very helpful. I have to hand it to LJ for a lot of the knowledge I’ve gained since I’ve joined.
