So the Casadei planer is mine and as we all know you have to spend money to make money so I decided to complement it with a factory refurbished Dutch designed and built Harwi sliding table saw for just €3000. It’s basically a brand new machine for a second hand price. I’m Dutch myself and I know people in the company (hence the low price) so it’s very nice to now own one of their products. The table is 3.2 metres long and the height and angle of the blade is electrically adjusted.

It certainly is. The length of the table allows me to rip 3 metre long slabs of wood in a short amount of time.

The refurbishment was actually already done (not for me specifically) when I made my offer on the Casadei planer. I got a call from the owner of the factory yesterday because he knew I was looking for a good sliding table. When he gave me the price I immediately said yes. This was a case of everything coming together at the right time.
