I am looking for some Norwegian Birch to turn a call with. I see that there is a Russian Birch that is very similar looking, does anybody know where I can get a few pieces without breaking the bank?

Did a Norwegian Birch serch and could not find any at two sites checked out both just say Birch bowl or spindle blanks. They sell both kiln dry & wet Birch. This site was cheaper than the other hope it works for you.

Had better luck looking for Russian Birch one site also sells Red River Birch. Didn’t bother posting a link.

Knowing wood from the same tree can turn out different moving 6 to 12 inches up or down the same log recommend just find some Birch or other wood species can afford.
