Topic tags/keywords: altendorf parts handle sled sliding table panel saw accessories screw clamp

Hi Fellas,

I’m looking to add a screw on handle for the sled of my Altendorf F45. She’s an old beauty from 1986. Previously, I worked in a shop with a nice SCMI saw. It had that feature and I worked better with it just a hands distance behind me. Using the sled became a smoother motion for ripping or crosscutting parts.

Does anyone know where to source this or the proper search terms? I’m stumped.

Thank You,

It’s commonly called a “butt bar” I think.

Have your say...
