I found this saved from a little over 5 years ago. I’ve searched and can’t find who wrote it. I’d like to know. I can’t believe (well, i guess I can) i didn’t write down where it came from.

What’s that I Spy amidst the rust, in a bucket over yonder?
What lies in wait for my caress?
What makes my heart beat stronger?
Could it be? NO surely not.
My God, I think IT IS!

A Stanley No.1 no less, I’ll search for thee no longer.
Five dollars reads the seller’s tag.
I ask if he’ll take three.
We shake on four, the deal is done
And 1 rub my hands with glee.

But now I have a problem
For you see, the question is…
Should I sell it unrestored,
Or should 1 do the biz?

To find one in the rough you see,
Has long since been my dream.
I’ve numbers 2 right up to 8
And the 1 completes the team.

So I’ll show it love, I make it sing,
Release it from its chains,
Then with pride 1’ll hang it up
On Don’s great wall of planes.

I’d guess Andy… let the search begin!

I saw one at a pick. The owner forgot he had it and refused to sell.
