This should be a bit better than my last post. Been wanting a staircase saw for a LONG time now…...(Like a couple of decades…..) Haven’t even seen any even in antique stores for years. Ran across two in an antique mall a couple of weeks ago. One was VERY crude, like a hunk of wood with half of a forked branch attaches for a handle, and was priced at $35. The second was much nicer, with graceful horn and handle, and accordingly priced at $55.00. I didn’t buy either one of those. Ran into this one unexpectedly last weekend. OK, I need to clean the “sticker goo” and some of the accumulated grime off with mineral spirits, and there is a vintage re-glue at the end of the handle, but I thought it was worth ten bucks.

Nice find. I would be so tempted to make a pattern and start over with new handle… LOL
