My mother bought me, for XMAS, the aforementioned compressor. But I was wondering your oppinion on it. She said if its not “good for me” she can return it. It seems fine, but what is your oppinion. Bearing in mind, I dont have room, for a Super Turbo Charged, V12 Powered, Compressor with NOS injection…. lol…

It seems to me, to be decent. But any oppinions. It has 2 Nail guns, a brad, and a finish Nailer. Its 2 Gallon, with 2CFM @90PSI. Its unfortunately Oil Free… and boy is it loud… so I do believe I will be picking up some ear protection(its on my list gents.. as soon as I can get around to getting some.)

IF I posted this twice, I appologize. For some reason, I cannot remember if I asked this question.

Oil Free compressors are loud, if it’s really going to bother you I’d trade it in. That being said that dewalt is one of my favorite compressors of all time. We had one at work that was stolen from my truck and I miss it. Although advertised as a trim compressor we ran a framing nailer off of it regularly and it had no problem keeping up, it is loud, but it’s light and I’ll make that trade anyday. We’re now lugging around a 80-90lb rigid compressor thats just as loud and cycles almost as often with a framing nailer.

Oh… then that might work for me… :) If it’ll run a framing nailer, than I doubt it will have trouble running the nailers..

But I am torn between that, and the Bostitch… On Amazon, I can get the Bostich, for $189(thats $11 cheaper than the Dewalt) refurbished. The DeWalt was the floor model, so both are similar in that aspect.

But the Bostitch, has 2 nailers(same) and a Stapler(diff) as well as a 4 gallon more storage tank. But it is a Pancake, rather than a flat lying… which honestly, I dont care about. Although it might be handy to be able to lay it under my bench. Or actually on a small shelf Im going to build, that will be attached…
