Topic tags/keywords: bandsaw trunnion tilt

I have a new Grizzly GO555LX bandsaw. When I try to tilt the table to the right, I always need to “lift” the table a little to get it to move. After that, I can set the table back on the trunnions and it will slide.

Since I must “lift” the table, that means I lose the alignment of the table to the blade.

I thought the table should slide on the trunnions easily.

What am I missing?

Mine wasn’t bad. No telling though probably something simple. Check for burrs or casting flash?

Thanks Fridge. I checked today without taking the table all the way off (needed to remove the rails and I was lazy).

I could not feel anything but I must have “fixed” it someway. Maybe dislodged some splinter. It at least moves better now.
