We don’t have a coffee lounge anymore but I think of many of you as my “LJ family”.

Last night I sat by my father (age 89) as he peacefully slipped away to be with his Lord. He was a fine Christian man and I know he is in a better place and I know his pain is finally over. Nonetheless, I will miss him greatly.

My prayers go out to you and your family. Hope it makes a little easier knowing where he’s at right now.

Sorry about your loss. Your consolation is that he is happier and at peace now.

Awww, Rich.

I’m deeply sorry.

There’s little consolation in these moments, but … I’m glad he went peacefully.

You have the prayers of me and my family. I understand the hole this kind of loss leaves.

I am glad to know that you know where your father now is.
Many of us do not have this privilege.
I am sure that you will miss your father but as you say he is now face to face with his Savior and there is no better place to be.
Some day we will have a lot LJs in heaven, what a party we will have with the Chief Carpenter!
