Hi Guys,

I’m in the research phase of designing this project and I’m wondering if anyone has plans to make one of these 4 drawer verical filing cabinets.

I’m on a tight budget so I’m thinking of maybe using oak plywood..

I have looked online for a few days and can’t seem to find any inspiration.. most the cabinet I am finding are 2 drawer or they are filing chests that take up too much floor space

Thanks again

Look at a file drawer project as “it just a box with drawers in it. Start designing by figuring out what size the drawers needs to be for the type of file folders you want. From that and the hardware you’re going to use will give you the carcass size.

Take a look at the different articles on the search page link below. Lot of good sizing information there.
