So I like to think the collective internet has more ideas than just myself….

I need help thinking of a small project to make for a graduation gift. It’s a kid I’ve been tutoring in math for the past 2 years, and it’s ended up more like me being a mentor than just a tutor. He’s on the edge of graduating, but a really great kid (had a rough road for a few years). Doesn’t know if he’s a “college-type” and in fact he’s into Japanese culture and drifting cars.

Any thoughts for this emo kid on something I could make? He’s a big softy at heart.

How about a diploma frame?

A sushi tray with an engraved message on the bottom. He can use it for ‘whatever’ and your message will still be there.
