Hello, I’m new here an would like some ideas. I bought some Bubinga and am building a cabinet and would like to know some good ways to finish. As of now I’m thinking BLO then some spray lacquer…

When using a nice wood like Bubinga, I just use water based poly to preserve the color of the wood.

Skip the oil. Lacquer alone will highlight the wood without darkening it. I’ve finished bubinga that way many times and the results have always been excellent.
