Hello fellow LJ’ers. I have spent a lot of time in the last few months building a new web site and playing around with some subscription options, but I have officially launched The Hand Tool School. After putting out over 100 podcast episodes over at The Renaissance Woodworker and getting so many emails about teaching hand tools, I decided to launch this “school” of sorts. I put that in quotes because I think it will be more of a guild where folks can learn about working entirely by hand in the hopes of learning fundamental skills that will make them a better woodworker. So I need your help. I’m looking for some feedback on the format I am using and what content I should include going forward. This community has never let me down before so thanks in advance. This is my promo video: If anyone is interested I have created a link to view the entire first lesson completely free. Just head over to the site and input your data into the sidebar to be taken to the preview page. Finally this is really meant to be a call for advice and suggestions, but if anyone in the LJ community is interested in joining, I will extend a 15% off for both 6 month and 1 year subscriptions. Just use the coupon code “LUMBERJOCK” Thanks for the input everyone and I hope to make it a better site based on your feedback. -- The Hand Tool School is Open for Business!
