I have just learned our friend Bob Putman (Grizzman), from Verbena Alabama, passed away this morning. I do not know any details at this time. Grizzman was greatly loved by his family, friends and community. He was a great friend to many on this forum. Please keep his wife, Susan, and family in your thoughts and prayers. We will miss you Grizzman. Rest in peace, my friend. -- The more I work with wood the more I recognize only God can make something as beautiful as a tree. I hope my humble attempts at this craft do justice by His masterpiece. -- Tim |

Oh no, he was a frequent commenter and he was quite conversational with me on this site. We travel a lot and he invited me to stop in at some point for a bbq. I planned on doing that at some point when I was in his neck of the woods. He was a character that you couldn’t help but like here. I will miss him. -- The smell of wood, coffee in the cup, the wife let's me do my thing, the lake is peaceful. |
